Thank you!

For all those who joined SOS on November 19th, a big thank you is extended to you! We wrapped Christmas packages for soldiers, and included holiday ornaments made by the youth at DFUMC and by the children in the CLC. Our soldiers are also receiving artificial Christmas trees within the next few weeks, courtesy of Cherokee Presbyterian Church Boy Scout Troop #8880. So they will be able to hang their new ornaments on their own tree this year! Thank you to everyone who has been involved in any way with SOS this year, especially Jen and Dave McRaney for all their love and support to keep this ministry going strong in '09. Our next pack date will be in January 2009, so be on the lookout for the date early next year. Many blessings to you and your families this holiday season, and don't forget to thank a soldier for all they do and have done.
