Dear Dallas First UMC,
I just wanted to take time out to thank you for your gifts of clothes, shoes, and stuffed animals for the Iraqi children. Your generosity has been such a blessing to the children. Thank you for helping us help them. May God Bless you and yours may you always dwell in the shadow of His love and care.
In Jesus Christ,

a family emergency. When we reschedule everyone will be notified of the new
time and date. We are so sorry for the inconvenience, and hope to see you
all when we reschedule.

Please join SOS as we pack boxes for soldiers on June 19th at 4 pm in the Barton Room. There will be a nursery provided. SOS is also in need of your help over the next few months. In addition to needing items for care packages, we need people to mail out the boxes at the post office and others to write letters to soldiers. If you are able to help in July, August, and September please contact Lisa Wahle at 770-505-0881 or lbwahle@hotmail.com
Thank you to all the individuals who have contributed with care package items, financial support, and purchased t-shirts in support of Serving Our Soldiers this past month! We would also like to recognize a few DFUMC ministries that have donated to the SOS cause recently as well: Women's Ministry, LAFF, and Men's Basketball League. With all of your contributions we mail out monthly care packages, ship clothes to Iraqi children, purchase fun holiday related items for the troops, and ensure each soldier we support receives a military Bible and devotional. Without your donations we could not continue to minister to our troops overseas! Thank you!!
WELCOME HOME !!
SOS would like to Welcome Home Blaise Nelson!! Thank you Blaise for your service, your sacrifice, and for protecting our freedoms! Many blessings to you and your family!
