Join LAFF and SOS for packing boxes on March 9th

Join the LAFF (Ladies After Faith and Fun) group on Monday March 9th at 7pm in the Barton Room to pack boxes for soldiers. If able please bring an item from the SOS needed items list to help restock our supplies.
March boxes will celebrate St Patty's Day. If you would like to purchase anything related to that holiday, or bake homemade cookies for the 9 soldiers to put in the boxes, I know the guys would greatly appreciate it!
SOS will also provide the LAFF ladies snacks and drinks to enjoy while we pack.

WELCOME HOME !!

SOS would like to Welcome Home Curt Grayer and Doug Wimer. Curt is a friend of DFUMC and Doug is a friend of Lisa Wahle. Thank you Curt and Doug for your service and sacrifices for our freedom. God Bless you!

Help Wanted- Serving Our Soldiers is in need of volunteers!

Imagine being away for months, sometimes over a year at a time from your family and friends. Getting a letter in the mail is a way to feel connected and supported to the country you left back home. SOS is looking for volunteers to write letters to soldiers this year. You don't have to be a poet, or Pulitzer prize winning author, just a willing heart and the ability to simply say, "Thank you." Please contact Lisa Wahle at lbwahle@hotmail.com, or 770-505-0881 to sign up today!

Welcome Home Soldier!

SOS would like to Welcome Home James McConnell. James is the Great-Grandson of DFUMC friend Kathleen McConnell (Legacy resident). Thank you James for your service and sacrifices for our freedom. God Bless you!
Dear Church Family and Friends,
What a blessing our church community has been to those who are serving overseas. We have received word from two soldiers who are currently deployed, Ben Brown and Doug Wimer. They wanted to express to you all how thankful they are for your support and how much they appreciate receiving packages and letters in the mail from you. But most of all they have felt your prayers and cannot express enough their gratitude for the awesome power of prayer.
Thank you all for your continued support of our SOS Ministry here at Dallas First.
Lisa Wahle
